Day 1 - Travel to Bali. Jetstar JQ117 0520-0800 flight. Arrive at Ocean Prana, afternoon dive session.
Day 2,3 - freedive training and fun dives
Day 4 - morning dive session. Depart for airport in the late afternoon. Flight back to Singapore on Scoot TR289 1845-2130
We will be diving from Ocean Prana, a freediving centre located in Jemeluk Bay, Amed (2.5 hours from Bali airport). The centre is 15m from the beach and features training spots from 0-60m deep a short swimming distance away. The bay is protected from waves, wind and current, with snorkeling and recreational dive sites. Depth training can be arranged once or twice a day. This trip is open to freedivers of all levels who have taken at least an AIDA 1 course (or equivalent) before.
The USAT Liberty shipwreck is a short distance away in the neighbouring village, Tulamben. A trip can be made there if time permits.
We will be running an Intermediate Freediving course (AIDA 3 certification) concurrently during this trip (theory and pool segments on 3 Feb 2018). Do let us know if you are interested!
Group accommodation will be at Ocean Prana in 6-bed wooden bungalows with A/C and hot water (SGD16 per night). If you prefer to arrange for your own accommodation there are many other options available close to the freediving centre, do ask us for recommendations.
Ocean Prana has its own yoga studio and offers daily yoga classes focusing on meditation, breath control and movement. Classes are led by trained and experienced instructors.
Depth training: SGD 65 per dive session. Your dive session will be coached by an experienced freediver.
Gear rental: 25 SGD per day for whole set of mask+snorkel, fins, wetsuit, weightbelt+ weights OR SGD10 per item (from Ocean Prana).
Accommodation: SGD 16 per night in Ocean Prana's 6-bed bungalow.
Yoga: SGD10 per class
Airport transfer: SGD25 each way (SGD50 return) if traveling with the group. If you are booking flights that are different to the rest of the group and require a private transfer, the fees will be SGD55 each way (during the day) and SGD65 each way (during the night).

The cost of food, travel insurance and any other activities such as scooter rental/ snorkeling trips requiring a boat will be borne by trip participants.
All participants must carry their own travel insurance, which covers freediving as an activity and includes medical evacuation insurance.
Please check the current visa requirements for your nationality to travel to Indonesia and ensure that you have the appropriate visa, if required.
Booking and cancellation policy
There are 8 spots available on this trip (excluding AIDA 3 students). A deposit of $200 and copy of your flight itinerary will be needed to secure your spot.
For cancellations of up to 2 weeks before the trip, a full refund of the deposit will be provided.
